Morning warehouse employee DHL Express Den Hoorn

• Working hours: Parttime, 9–15 hours per week (morning shifts)
• Location: Den Hoorn
• Salary: 15.30 - 18.50 Hour

Are you an early bird who likes to be active in the morning and free for study, sports or social plans for the rest of the day?

As a morning warehouse employee at DHL Express in Den Hoorn, you start your day together with a close team in the depot. In a few focused hours you help load and unload vans and trucks, sort international parcels and prepare containers for the next flights and routes. You work in a clear structure, follow safety instructions and stay in motion the whole shift. After your shift, you still have the whole day ahead of you for your studies or other activities.

What you are gonna do: 

• You load and unload vans and trucks, keeping an eye on safety and tempo.
• ️ You sort parcels by postcode and destination and place them on the right belt or in the right container.
• You build and break down containers so that parcels are stacked stable and ready for safe transport.
• You follow safety procedures, keep your workspace tidy and report any irregularities.
• You work closely with colleagues and your team leader to keep the morning shift running smoothly.

• Hourly wage from €15.30 up to €18.50, depending on your experience and background.
• Choice between weekly or four‑weekly salary payments, so you manage your income the way you like.

• Short shifts of about 2–3 hours per workday, giving you plenty of free time afterwards.
• 8% holiday allowance on top of your salary, paid out according to Dutch standards.
• 10% accrual of holiday hours over every hour you work, so you build paid time off.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per kilometre for your commute to Den Hoorn.
• Extra flex budget of 6.24% on top of your regular employment conditions.
• Dangerous Goods course fully paid by DHL, including an officially recognised certificate.

Wat we van je vragen

You are a reliable morning person who enjoys active, hands-on work in a structured logistics environment.

• You are available at least three mornings per week, including every Monday.
• You are physically fit and able to lift packages up to 20 kg.
• Yu have a good command of Dutch or English for communication.
• You can apply for a Certificate of Conduct (VOG), have no objections to the application, and follow safety regulations.
• You are proactive, punctual, and take responsibility for results.
